Rivertowns Rotary Worked to Fill the Dobbs Food Pantry

• Bookmarks: 57

May 25, 2023

During the month of May, more than 500 Rotary clubs and 14,000 Rotarians across 5 states and 3 countries, from Rhode Island to New Jersey in the U.S., plus Bermuda and Brazil, will volunteer in their communities for an unprecedented Day of Service.  Our local Rivertowns Rotary Club elected to support the Dobbs Ferry Food Panty as our community based service project.

The Rivertowns Rotary members volunteered at the Food Pantry on 5/23, prepping, packing and distributinng food and hygiene products at South Presbyterian Church.  We feel honored to have helped feed our neighbors and the volunteers that support the process week after week, rain or shine. Approximately 80 families were accommodated at the Food Pantry during our time there.

The relationship that has been forged between the Rivertowns Rotary and The Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry will allow future opportunities to help our neighbors most in need.
