A message from Irvington Schools Superintendent Dr. Kristopher Harrison:
Here in the Irvington UFSD, the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. To ensure that we are doing all that we can to provide the highest level of safety, your help is needed.
As our school campuses are easily accessible to pedestrians, we ask that during school hours you respect the following requests:
Support our Sponsors
- Do not cut through school grounds during the school day as a shortcut to your destination. By limiting the number of passersby on school property, we can better supervise our students’ safety.
- Refrain from using school fields, playgrounds and the track during the school day. Limiting the number of community members on school grounds helps us to ensure that only authorized individuals are near our students.
- Please leave your dogs at home! While we all love our furry family members, some children are not comfortable around them or have allergies to dogs. If dogs (and other pets) are left home, we can alleviate any concerns and prevent an unforeseen accident from occurring.
- Also, if you happen to have a dog on school grounds outside of school hours, they must be on a leash at all times. Additionally, please be sure to clean up after them, as it helps to alleviate any mishaps during the school day!
