Rep. Latimer Congratulates Ardsley High School Students On Winning The Congressional App Challenge

Sixteenth District Congressman George Latimer welcomed the winners of the Congressional App Challenge in Washington D.C. as part of the House of Code ceremony put on for the winners of the challenge.
Saihaj Singh, Griffin Chan, and Ishan Gheewala of Ardsley High School are the winners of the 2025 Congressional App Challenge in New York’s 16th District. Their app “BitView” is a web-based video interview platform that allows users to host real-time, high-quality interviews directly in the browser.
The Congressional App Challenge is a premier STEM competition open to middle and high school students across the country looking to create an app of any content type. Each Member of Congress has the opportunity to host a district-wide challenge, with each district’s winning app being displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building for one year.
Congressman Latimer stated “Congratulations to the winners of the NY-16 Congressional App Challenge! Thank you to all of the participants, educators, mentors, and judges who worked to make this competition a success. Engaging students in STEM is imperative to making sure we are well equipping the next generation with the tools of success as we move further into the digital age.”
