Consider two things before voting in the June 23rd Democratic primary for Congress: who can beat Mike Lawler and who would be our best representative in Congress. The answer to both is BETH DAVIDSON.
A winning candidate
Beth is the only candidate who has run in an election beyond the village level. And she has never lost! Beth was elected to the Nyack school board and the Rockland Legislature and is a seasoned and tireless campaigner. Beth is endorsed by the Rockland Democratic Committee and many Westchester Town committees. Her principal opponent has no experience in electoral politics and has never run for anything.
Beth has worked for 20 years solving problems of constituents in Rockland County, a county crucial to the outcome in November. She is well known, well liked and trusted. She also knows Mike Lawler and how to counter his MAGA record. Beth’s main opponent, by contrast, has a number of liabilities which Lawler will exploit, including questions about her work for two controversial AI companies.
An effective MOC
Beth’s principal opponent has a number of West Point and military accolades. They are impressive and we are all grateful for her service, but other skills are necessary in Congress. With no background in crafting legislation she would face a steep learning curve. Beth is the only candidate who fully understands the legislative process and has actual experience shaping legislation. Her record is long and strong and she will arrive in Washington ready on day one.
Finally, Beth has the integrity, intelligence, energy and commitment we need in Congress. On June 23rd, choose Beth.
