ArdsleySchool News Ardsley High School Student Athletes Commit to College Athletics Published 4 hours ago4h ago • Bookmarks: 5 June 8, 2026 By Rick Pezzullo— Ten senior student athletes from Ardsley High School were honored last week during the annual College Commitment Signing Day, recognizing their commitment to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. The June 1 ceremony honored students who will compete in NCAA Division I, II, and III programs. Joined by family members, coaches, teachers, and administrators, the student athletes were recognized for the hard work, dedication, and perseverance that led them to this milestone as they prepare to begin the next chapter of their academic and athletic journeys.Support our Sponsors Ahmady Dolcine will be playing football at Marist College (D1), while Lucas Kaplan will step on to the gridiron at Macalester College (D3). Three students will be playing lacrosse: Sienna Kay at Muhlenberg College (D3), Trent Schlosser at University of St. Joseph (D3) and Brodi Kessler at Point Park U. (D2). Running track and field will be Mio Martin at Washington U. in St. Louis (D3), while Alessandra Finnerty-Vidal will be competing in cross country track and field at SUNY Cortland (D3). Meanwhile, Leah Burriss will be shooting hoops at Bates College (D3) and Sofia Haber will be playing softball at Gettysburg College (D3). According to a recent NCAA report, “Estimated probability of competing in college athletics,” approximately 3% or less (depending on the Division and sport), get recruited to play a NCAA Division I, II or III sport.
