Tax-Aide volunteers continue to provide tax assistance to local residents, particularly taxpayers Counselors are trained and IRS-certified each year to make sure they know about and understand the latest changes and additions to the tax code. They also complete course modules on standards of conduct and how to keep your sensitive documents and secure.
Appointments can be scheduled for the John C. Hart Memorial Library on Mondays February 5th through April 15th. Appointments also at the Peekskill Neighborhood Center on Fridays.
And if you’re comfortable with computers and have the right equipment, you can ask about our remote arrangement, where you connect with counselors electronically from home at your convenience. These services are both free of charge.
