Westchester Black Women’s Political Caucus Greater Bedford Chapter Endorse Kamala Harris for President
The Westchester Black Women’s Political Caucus, Greater Bedford Chapter, is proud to formally endorse Kamala Harris as the next President of the United States. In a time when our country faces unprecedented challenges, from social and economic inequality to threats to our freedoms and democracy, Kamala Harris represents the leadership and vision necessary to steer our nation forward.
As the first Black woman and first South Asian woman to serve as Vice President,
Kamala Harris has consistently demonstrated her commitment to uplifting marginalized communities and fighting for justice. Her track record as a public servant speaks for itself—whether advocating for voting rights, supporting working families, or fighting to protect reproductive rights, Harris has always stood firmly on the side of progress.
As Black women, we see in Kamala Harris a reflection of our own journeys—navigating adversity, breaking through barriers, and refusing to be silenced. Her presidency will be a historic and symbolic moment for all of us as she brings to the highest office in the land the strength, grace, and resilience we know so well.
We believe that Kamala Harris’s presidency would not only mark a significant milestone in our nation’s history but also serve as an inspiring example of leadership rooted in equity, compassion, and accountability. She has the experience, the moral fortitude, and the courage to lead us toward a more just and inclusive future.
Our endorsement of Kamala Harris is rooted in our unwavering belief that she will continue to champion policies that prioritize the needs of Black women and our families, and all Americans. We are ready to organize, mobilize, and ensure that her vision for America becomes a reality. We stand with Kamala Harris because she stands with us. Her story is our story—and we know the power of our collective voices.
In solidarity, Westchester Black Women’s Political Caucus, Greater Bedford Chapter, MaryAnn Carr, Director
