An 9-time Grammy nominee, Tierney Sutton has received 8 Nominations for “Best Jazz Vocal Album” as well as a 9th for arranging. Known for her impeccable voice and superbly imaginative arrangements, Sutton is heralded for her ability to transform even the most familiar song into a revelation. She is a story-teller and The New York Times called her “a serious jazz artist who takes the whole enterprise to another level.”

Pianist Tamir Hendelman is known as a long time member of the Jeff Hamilton Trio and Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra and leader of his own trio. His imaginative arranging has also been featured on recordings with Graham Dechter, Richard Galliano and Claudio Roditi.

Jazz harmonica virtuoso Hendrik Meurkens has been a Brazilian music star for decades. All About Jazz said of his new album Samba Jazz Odyssey, Latin music “doesn’t get much better than this.” Hendrik will also perform on vibes at the show.
