For many years, LeDonne has been at the B-3 to lead The Groover Quartet, a wildly popular weekly “grits and gravy” jazz gig at Smoke in Manhattan, and he’s bringing that sound, plus an additional horn, to Tarrytown. Don’t miss it!

Jazz Forum Arts is excited to announce a new student ensemble program for aspiring young musicians, grades 5-12, offering them the opportunity to become jazz improvisers.

The program begins on Monday, February 6!

Under the direction of Ron Vincent and Nancy Kennedy and using a repertoire of blues and jazz standards, these ensembles will give students a chance to learn the tools of improvisation and basic jazz harmony. Students will explore jazz while playing in a group setting of their peers under the experienced guidance of the ensemble directors. All instruments are welcome.

Please register your interest before purchasing tickets. Last day to register is January 23. We will get back to you via email or phone.
