The first Solarize Tarrytown residential installations have begun. On January 10 at 1 p.m. at the Warner Library, the Village of Tarrytown and Sunrun, the solar installer chosen by Solarize Tarrytown, will hold a meeting to discuss the solar installations that are taking place. Homeowners will be present to discuss what made them decide to go ahead with solar panels.
Representatives from Sunrun will be present to discuss issues such as:
• what factors make an installation possible,
• what makes an installation successful.
Find out what makes for success but hurry. The sign-up period for residential installations ends February 29th; call 914-458-5122 for more information.
Commercial buildings can get an even better deal than houses! Property owners in the town of Greenburgh (Village of Tarrytown) can easily finance an installation with little or no money down through Energize NY Finance. Affordable housing developments, not-for-profit institutions, and multi-family buildings with more than four tenants are also eligible, and the potential savings are high. The sign-up period for commercial, non-profit and multi-family installations ends April 15th; call 914- 861- 4685 for more information, visit:
