Ruby deStevens, a resident of Summit, New Jersey, died May 3 at Brightview, Warren, NJ. She was 93.

She was born October 14, 1926 in Tarrytown to Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Mary (nee Baldacini) Devico. She attended Barnard and The New School and retired as an Editorial Assistant from the Summit Herald.

She was a devote catholic and was a long-time parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila Church in Summit where she was a faithful member of the choir. She and her husband were past members of the Morris County Golf Club.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. George deStevens. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 9, at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow. A Funeral Mass and Memorial gathering will be held after the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. For more information or to send the family a condolence, please visit www.bradleyfuneralhomes.com.
