Last week Patti Horvath, program officer of the Field Hall Foundation, presented a check for $20,000 to the Thomas E. and Alice Marie Hales Caregivers Center at Phelps Hospital. The grant will support the center’s programming, which provides caregivers with emotional support, counseling, access to social workers, and other resources necessary to navigate the current health care system. The Field Hall Foundation mission is to improve the lives of older adults and their caregivers throughout Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester counties.
