Are you a federal employee who is now out of work? Are you looking for a job with the state, county or local governments? If yes – you should watch the presentation at the Greenburgh Library that we recently taped.  Frank Celentano, from Westchester County Human Resources provides lots of important information that could help you prepare for civil service exams and increase your chances of being hired by for government jobs in NYS. PLANNING FOLLOW UP SEMINARS TO HELP THOSE OUT OF WORK PREPARE FOR CIVIL SERVICE EXAMS

In THE coming months I plan to organize a series of seminars that I hope will be even more helpful to those seeking government jobs.

My thought: Will invite current employees in different departments to participate in seminars talking about their experiences applying for and being selected for civil service jobs. How did they prepare for the tests? They will also discuss the work they are currently doing and provide those seeking jobs with advice. Most government jobs in NYS require civil service tests.

I’m going to break down the seminars by job categories. If interested in attending – please advise what kind career in government you’d be interested in. E mail me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com. And we will try to help.

Being out of work is very stressful. Want you to have the best chance of finding employment.

Greenburgh Town Supervisor
