Editor’s Note: From Rivertowns for Refugees:

Please join us at South Church for an informative and entertaining evening in support of newly arrived Refugees from Afghanistan

Learn how the U.S. refugee process works, what the experience has been like for our incoming families, and what we are doing to help!

The event kicks off with a roundtable discussion featuring representatives from:

  • Catholic Charities Community Services
  • Hearts and Homes for Refugees
  • Rivertowns for Refugees
  • Along with recently resettled Afghan refugees

Followed by Classical piano performance by Eugene Sirotkine

Traditional Afghan musical and spoken word performances

A silent auction of Artwork by Afghani Artists

Refreshments and Light Fare

Your ticket and/or donation will support the resettlement of newly arrived Afghan families in Westchester County fleeing the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 to support a newly arrived family for one year
