Ms. Frances Gloria (Fiorisi) Donohue of Yonkers, NY passed away on December 4th, 2022 peacefully at her home. She was 83 years old.

Frances was born on November 30th, 1939 in Peekskill, NY to parents Carmine Fiorisi and Bridget Cattutti. She graduated from Commerce High School in Yonkers, NY and went on to have a successful career at AT&T. She was married on November 22nd of 1959 in Yonkers, NY to Lawrence “Jimmy” Donohue. Together, they had three daughters and one son.

Frances is survived by her daughter Frances Donohue; son Lawrence Donohue and his wife Linda; brother Carmine Fiorisi; sister Norma Winkler; sister-in-law Roni Donohue; Grandchildren Jessica Harrington-Morehead, Lauren Shelley-McGee, Jillian Harrington, James Henry, Theresa Donohue, Kathryn Shelley-Buchanan, Frances Donohue, Lawrence Donohue and James Donohue. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren: Matthew Morehead, Olivia Morehead, Charlotte Morehead, Patrick McGee, Alison McGee, Robert McGee and Margot Buchanan.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Carmine Fiorisi and Bridget Cattutti; husband, Lawrence “Jimmy” Donohue; daughters, Patricia Donohue and Alison (Donohue) Henry; and brother-in-law Thomas Donohue.

Frances loved to spend time with her friends and family at holiday gatherings and always attended important family events and celebrations. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and often enjoyed taking her grandkids out on day trips to the bird zoo or the planetarium. She channeled her faith and spirituality through Sahaja Yoga, ultimately making many lasting, life long friendships through her participation in many groups throughout the years. She was loving, caring and often funny, even when she didn’t mean to be. A great soul, she will be missed dearly by friends, family and all that knew her.

A funeral mass will be held in the spring. An announcement will be made and posted with more details.
