    Nutcracker for Kids Yorktown Stage will present Dance For Joy’s Nutcracker for Kids: The Nutcracker for Kids is a one hour, condensed and narrated version of the full story of the Nutcracker, in which all parts are danced by students. It allows audience members of all ages to experience the magic of the Nutcracker during the holiday season!

    Join local teaching artist Rebeca Tomás for Flamenco fun! This all age program explores basic concepts of Flamenco in a fun way. Make music with your body including fancy footwork (zapateo), rhythmic hand-clapping (palmas), singing some flamenco songs (cante), sway and move with a fan (abanico), and hear the sound of the castanets (las catañuelas) too. An interactive workshop and performance that engages all the senses. Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month!
