The first in the “Rising Stars” series of the Friends of Warner 2026 program features Princeton Freshman Jasper Zimmerman on piano, and Sleepy Hollow High School seniors Henry Scheller on bass and Nicolás Mayor on drum set. This jazz piano trio of award-winning young musicians features some of the country’s most promising artists, representing the future of jazz through their unique approaches to the genre. The trio will present original arrangements with a modern sound in the format of jazz piano trio.
This January Hudson Chorale will pair Mozart’s passionate, beloved Requiem with Christopher Tin’s The Lost Birds, a poignant contemporary work that has already drawn much acclaim.
