Mark your calendars for the 10th Annual Run for Recovery, presented by Run 4 Recovery, Drug Crisis in Our Backyard, Search for Change, and the Alliance for Safe Kids (ASK). The run/walk is on September 28, 2024, at FDR State Park, celebrating National Recovery Month!
The 5K supports individuals on their journey toward recovery while providing a fun-filled day for all members of the community. All levels of runners (and walkers!) are welcome to join us for the in-person 5K or participate virtually all month long.
Join us after the race for an on-site Save A Life Wellness Fair, providing crucial resources and information on recovery and mental health. Also, we’re launching a new virtual tool on race day to keep support going year-round!
In a unique opportunity for local businesses and groups to sponsor a meaningful initiative, the Run for Recovery invites participation from all sectors of the community. By joining forces with Run 4 Recovery, Drug Crisis in Our Backyard, Search for Change and the Alliance for Safe Kids (ASK), sponsors contribute to fostering community well-being and supporting individuals in need.
Now is the time to come together as a community to support individuals in reclaiming their lives. You can participate in the Run for Recovery by visiting the event’s fundraising page by texting RUN4RECOVERY to 71-777 or going to https://bit.ly/RunforRecovery to • REGISTER • SPONSOR • DONATE.
