Irvington Historical Society Presents “Someone Must Wash the Dishes!”

March 17 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

Celebrate Women’s History Month by enjoying a pro-Suffrage monologue performed in costume by professional actress Michele LaRue at the Irvington Public Library on Sunday, March 18, at 2 p.m.  This hilarious, tongue-in-cheek argument against women having the right to vote was written in 1912 by Marie Jenney Howe, eight years before women finally did win the right to vote in the United States.  Co-sponsored by the Irvington Historical Society and the Irvington Public Library, this event is free, and all are welcome to attend.
