Greenburgh To Offer COVID Vaccines, Flu Shots During Early Voting Next Week

• Bookmarks: 49

October 20, 2021

Responding to concerns expressed by some residents of the river villages about COVID, Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner has arranged for outdoor flu shots and vaccines to be administered by the Greenburgh Neighborhood Health Center on two upcoming early voting days.

COVID-19 vaccines, boosters and flu shots will be offered from a mobile unit parked in the Greenburgh Town Hall parking lot both on Tuesday, Oct. 26, from noon to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 30, from noon to 5 p.m. Town Hall is located at 177 Hillside Ave., White Plains.

“I am very grateful to the Greenburgh Health Center for offering this public service to residents,” said Feiner,” and anyone else who would like to take the vaccines or flu shots.” The Health Center recently provided similar services at Town Hall during the Greenburgh farmer’s market. “I got my booster shot there,” reports Feiner. “The lines were short and the staff administering the vaccines were helpful and organized. I’m looking forward to getting my flu shot next week at the health center mobile unit.”
