Rey Insurance Agency was recently honored at an event celebrating family entrepreneurs when it was chosen as a winner of the Westfair Communications Family-Owned Business Awards. 20 family businesses from Westchester and Fairfield counties representing diverse industries were selected by industry leaders in their respective fields as honorees at the event.

Founded by Francisco Rey in 1978 with the goal of making insurance accessible for everyone in both English and Spanish, Rey Insurance Agency was bought in 2013 by Rey’s daughters, Linda and Laura.

Westfair Communications Publisher, Dee DelBello, said winners were chosen based on a number of factors including the number of years in business, how many generations are participating, the success and continuity of the business and how the business gives back to the community.

Rey Insurance Agency is located at 219 N. Broadway in Sleepy Hollow NY.
